Halloween Fursuiting in Asheville?

For the past two years, TigWolf and I have fursuited in downtown Asheville, NC on Halloween evening with great response from the general public. This year we would like to see if anyone else is interested in joining us for an evening of fun?

Stuck In Seattle, WA with Delta Flight Issues

I have currently been waiting in SEA over 8 hours for a flight repair to be completed on the indicator light of the landing gear on the Delta aircraft that I am flying back to the East coast on. Instead of departing at 12:55pm, we are now scheduled to depart at 8:30pm and arrive in Atlanta at 4.00am. My connecting flight has been re-booked to a 8.30am flight after standing in line for a solid 3 hours.

Overall I had a very good time at RainFurrest hanging out with friends, visiting the Boeing plant and sampling some tasty meals in Seattle. The con was very low-keyed and the hotel was very nice. I found the staff was very helpful, especially in the dealers room where I was set up on Friday and Saturday and I even had the opportunity to suit a few times in the fursuit parade and dances.

Update: 09/22/09 Flight did not depart until after 10:30pm and due to our crew timing out we had to stop in Salt Lake City, UT for a crew change before heading onto Atlanta for a 8:40am arrival. We were greeted at the gate with a $100.00 travel voucher for our 10 hour delay and since I missed my 8:30am connection, I again had to be re-booked and finally arrived at my home airport at 10:30am. Word of advise... DO NOT FLY DELTA/NORTHWEST AIRLINES!

Update: 10/22/09 After sending a letter to Delta Airlines, they promptly replied and offered an additional $200.00 travel voucher.

Now that I am finally getting caught up after returning from EF-15, I thought I would make a quick post and thank everyone for such a great time! This year, TigWolf and I flew in Denmark and spent a few days with fox_fur and his wonderful family where we enjoyed an awesome cookout at their beautiful farm upon our arrival and were treated to an evening at "Tivoli Gardens" before driving down to Suhl.

We arrived at the "Ringburg Hotel" for early arrival on Tuesday evening and had a fantastic time seeing both old friends and meeting some special new ones. We enjoyed some great restaurants in town and drank way to much into the wee hours of every morning. Some of this year's highlights were the "Motorfurs Meet", "The Big Blue Fox Dance" and our annual meal at "Der Gasthof Haseltal"

We sadly departed the "Ringburg" on Monday and headed back on our eight hour journey to Denmark where Foxfur's parents surprised us with a beautiful dinner and surprise cake for Tig's birthday! The following day we visited "St. Michael's Church" where we got to visit the bell tower and the "Trelleborg Viking Fortress" before preparing for our trip back to the USA.

Overall, the trip was way to short and we really miss our friends in Europe. We truly look forward to next years EF event at its new location and are sure many new memories are waiting us. A special thanks to the entire staff at EF for making our con unforgettable and Foxfur's family for hosting us and treating us like true family. We can't wait for next year!

Travel Plans For Eurofurence

With only three weeks to go, TigWolf and I are getting extremely excited to see everyone again at Eurofurence-15! We will be flying into Copenhagen, Denmark this year to spend a little time with fox_furand his family for some sightseeing before and after the convention. We plan to be arriving/departing from the Ringberg as follows:

Arrive at the Ringberg Hotel on Tuesday, August 25,2009 at approx 3PM
Depart the Ringberg Hotel on Monday, August 31,2009 at approx 12PM

We will have a fetish_zone table in the dealers den again this year, full of new plush animals and will be hosting a product room party on Friday, August 21, 2009 for those of you looking for additional items offered from our site. Trip Across The Pond

I will be in the UK (Manchester and London) visiting steve_fox_uk from May 23rd to May 31st., for some sightseeing and possibility a little castle exploring/fursuiting. I am also planning to also see some foxes at a rehabilitation center and pick up some new "Wolf" motorcycle leathers. The last time I was in the UK, was about 15 years ago for business, so I'm really looking forward to taking in the sites with my own personal UK guide.

2009 Convention Plans

Well a full year on conventions is almost over! This past year I attended FC, FWA, FCN, AC, EF and MFF and will be finishing the year off with the Furry Cruise and Herbie's Christmas party next week.

After reflecting on all my travels this past year, I came to the conclusion that I had the most fun at some of the smaller cons, where I could really relax and spend quality time with my friends. As such, I will be adjusting my 2009 convention schedule according.

In 2009, I plan to just attend FWA, EF-15 (my favorite) and possibly RF, which would be a new con for me. I had a great time at MFF this past weekend, but was feeling a bit burned out and feel I needed to scale back my exposure a little in hopes of rekindling the magic.
