2009 Convention Plans

current mood: busy

Well a full year on conventions is almost over! This past year I attended FC, FWA, FCN, AC, EF and MFF and will be finishing the year off with the Furry Cruise and Herbie's Christmas party next week.

After reflecting on all my travels this past year, I came to the conclusion that I had the most fun at some of the smaller cons, where I could really relax and spend quality time with my friends. As such, I will be adjusting my 2009 convention schedule according.

In 2009, I plan to just attend FWA, EF-15 (my favorite) and possibly RF, which would be a new con for me. I had a great time at MFF this past weekend, but was feeling a bit burned out and feel I needed to scale back my exposure a little in hopes of rekindling the magic.

I understand 100%. I will be pulling back next year on cons as well. I do not see myself going to AC next year for example or FC at this time. The please i have at the smaller cons is much greater, as you said you get to see your friends and hang with them. I wish you could make FCN. Looks like our schedules will not cross much if at all this next year :( Will have to figure out something else i guess.
